Bob McWhorter, his wife, Bonnie and his son Mike McWhorter incorporated Quality Stainless, Inc. in January 1984, after selling a previous stainless steel fabrication business Bob operated for nine years with silent partners. Mr. McWhorter had more than 25 years of experience in the sheet metal industry at that time. Mr. McWhorter semi-retired in 2003 but remains a vital source of experience and knowledge for our company. Mike McWhorter is now president and has more than 30 years of experience in stainless steel fabrication and food service design and sales. In all, our current principals have more than 120 years of combined experience in our industry.

In 2003 our Restaurant Equipment Sales and Design department was separated from the Fabrication business to enhance the tremendous growth in this area of interest. Operating as Quality Food Equipment, we provide complete Food Service Design and sales for all industry segments. As a member of the Excell Dealer’s Network, we have international buying power to ensure the best prices for our customers.
